In 2024, Mars and Total Marketing Support (TMS) entrusted us with developing a new display to support the launch of the newly packaged Celebrations bottle. The brief was clear: to design a more environmentally responsible solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A POS display designed to reduce environmental impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Previously made from plastic, this display has been completely redesigned in cardboard, following eco-design principles. It is made from a single material sourced from FSC-certified suppliers and can be fully recycled at the end of its life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its streamlined, functional design follows the contours of the bottles to optimise space, reducing material use while maintaining the stability needed to hold up to 260 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is assembled without glue thanks to a clever slotting system and uses plant-based inks and varnishes for a more sustainable formulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This approach reflects a commitment to reducing environmental impact<\/span><\/strong><\/a> without compromising in-store functionality. It also aligns with Mars\u2019 broader efforts to support a sustainable transition across its entire value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measured environmental improvement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Analysis using the Sustain\u00ae* tool showed an improvement in the display\u2019s environmental score, which dropped from 39.412 to 20.85, a reduction of around 50%. This improvement was largely due to replacing the plastic structure with a cardboard solution, lowering CO\u2082 emissions and increasing the proportion of recycled material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This repositioning was recognised at the SHOP! Awards Paris 2025<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, where the Celebrations display won a Gold Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greater visibility for the brand\u2019s commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FSC logo, visible on the display, informs consumers about the responsible sourcing of the materials used. It reflects the shared commitment of Mars, TMS and POP Solutions to more sustainable practices<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
