In 2026, POP Solutions renews its EcoVadis Gold medal. The company has been assessed by EcoVadis since 2013 and has held the Gold medal continuously since 2022. This consistency reflects a long-term, structured CSR strategy, in line with concrete efforts to reduce our climate impact.

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is an international organisation that assesses companies’ CSR performance across four pillars:

  • Environment: energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, waste management, resource use, and more.
  • Labour and human rights: working conditions, health and safety, equal opportunities and respect for fundamental rights.
  • Ethics: anti-corruption measures, data protection and responsible business practices.
  • Sustainable procurement: integrating social and environmental considerations into supplier selection and monitoring.

Top 5% in our sector: our score in detail

POP Solutions achieves an overall score of 81/100 in 2026, placing us among the top 5% of highest-rated companies in our sector worldwide, according to EcoVadis:

Concrete actions

This score reflects sustainable practices, including several new initiatives introduced this year:

  • An emissions reduction target validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi): cutting greenhouse gas emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 67.2% by 2035 compared to 2019, a target confirmed in June 2026 as aligned with a 1.5°C pathway.
  • Carbon footprint measurement for POS materials (on request).
  • More structured management of ethical risks, including an anti-corruption charter signed by staff exposed to these risks internally.
  • Strengthened CSR requirements for our suppliers, through our CSR charter and a targeted ESG audit.

These new initiatives add to measures already introduced in previous years: solar panels, eco-designed materials, an electric vehicle fleet, and enhanced waste management.

This strategy is driven by our Sustainability Coordinator:

CSR is everyone’s responsibility; my role is to set the pace.

Apolline de Patoul, Sustainability Coordinator at POP Solutions

What this medal means for your projects

Choosing an EcoVadis-assessed supplier also means greater transparency across the supply chain, making it easier to monitor social, environmental and ethical criteria.

FAQs

How is an EcoVadis score calculated?

EcoVadis rates companies’ CSR performance out of 100, based on supporting documentation and external sources (public databases, media, NGOs).

The rating covers four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Each is assessed against three pillars: policies (25%), concrete actions (40%) and measurable results (35%).

A good score alone isn’t enough to secure Gold status, however: the medal depends on how the company ranks against others in the same sector worldwide, driving continuous improvement year on year.

How long is an EcoVadis medal valid for?

An EcoVadis medal is valid for one year. It must be renewed through a new assessment, which requires ongoing improvement in CSR practices.
